"the Passat can be seen as a family saloon and fastback version of the Espada from a design viewpoint."

I believe this statement to be questionable so have removed it. TiHead 19:29, 7 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Who designed the Espada?

The Lamborghini Espada was a Bertone design that was clearly based on Bertone's Marzal and Pirana show cars of 1967. Giugiaro was working for Ghia by that time, and therefore had nothing to do with either of the show cars, much less the Espada of 1968. Perhaps the authors of the article on Marcello Gandini are correct in claiming that the Espada, like the Miura, Jarama, and Countach, was a Gandini design? I agree with the Marcello Gandino tesis! yagobal 05:56, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Espada concept of 2006

It never existed so the article must be corrected... 81.84.56.64 05:55, 26 March 2007 (UTC)

If it never existed, then where did the picture come from? Respectfully, SamBlob 22:39, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Sorry, mixed it up with the Miura concept. Respectfully, SamBlob 22:40, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
