Regarding this sentence:
As such, the lake bears the unique distinction of being the only lake within a lake in the Northern Hemisphere, a designation noted on the television series Ripley's Believe It Or Not.
Although not specifically cited, this claim comes from the Forest Service site listed in the References. There are however lakes on Isle Royale, an island in Lake Superior, and on islands in Reindeer Lake, to name a few other examples. Kablammo 03:42, 8 June 2007 (UTC)
