[edit] Article format model
My edits have been based upon loosely following the Seattle page's model, which is one of the proposed models for city/town entry layout. However, somebody recently screwed up the info box (at least, in Safari), so now I'm a little worried about that idea. Solarbird 01:47, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Sorry about the edits
I was trying to copy some of the info from this wiki to another wiki, but I lost track of which one I was editing. I don't know how to revert back to a previous edit, so I struggled a little bit getting the page back as it was before. Sorry! --74.60.12.225 06:44, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Lyon Creek Park photo, header information.
A suggestion: I think that the Lyon Creek Park photo might want to be in a Neighbourhoods or a Parks section, perhaps. LFP does need a citybox to be filled out - I did one for Kenmore last month, it's not hard - but I was waiting to hear back from the city government about using images from their website of the flag and/or seal. (I never heard back; I'm just on the other side of the boundary with Kenmore, which might be a factor.) I also think the citybox main image should be something a little more visible - a shot of city hall or the LFPTC, maybe? Or the Farmer's Market, even? Solarbird 06:32, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
- I moved the photo to the parks section I started. Solarbird 17:55, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
- I finally took a decent picture of the Farmers' Market; when I get around to making a citybox for LFP, I'll probably use it as the city photo. Until then, I've put it up top as a thumbnail pic. Solarbird 15:44, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

Lyon Creek Park, the only public access to Lake Washington from Lake Forest Park
I've moved the old Lyon Creek Park photo off the page, replacing it with a newer one. Here's a link to the old one for reference. Solarbird 06:10, 5 July 2007 (UTC)
- ...or not. Apparently you can't tag things "No commercial use" anymore, it gets queued for deletion automatically. Y'know what? If Wikipedia doesn't want non-commercial-use only licenses, maybe they shouldn't have it as an option in the @#$@#@!! license dropdown. Page reverted, image allowed to stay in deletion queue. [edit] Citation for bicycle traffic claim?
Anybody got a cite for "In the summer and fall, over 5,000 people cycle this area anually, including 3,500 children."? I've flagged it as citation needed. Solarbird 17:23, 19 April 2007 (UTC)
