Lakshman Jayakody (born 24 August 1930) Ex MP is a SLFP stalwart and was the Cabinet Minister of Buddhist Affairs in the Sri Lankan Cabinet from 1994-2000. He was educated at Trinity College Kandy. He is now serving as a senior presidential advisor to the president Mahinda Rajapaksa.
