The Veisiejis Lake is in the Southern Lithuania, Lazdijai district. It is located about 6 km to southwest from Veisiejai city. The lake is narrow and seems like river. Shores are mostly sharp and high. Veisiejis Lake has 13 islands (total area 0.322 km²). It has junction with Niedus - Lake. There are Paveisiejai, Navikai, Gerveliai, Sapiegiškiai, Paveisininkai, Burbai, Palačionys, Purviniai, Subačiai, Kalviai villages around the lake.
The Veisiejis lake are was 4.44 km² till 1956 but after building of Kapčiamiestis hydroelectric power station Veisiejis joined with Nadorius and Uosis lakes.
