Lagado is a fictional country/fictional city from the book of Gulliver's Travels

Lagado is the capital of the sky-city Laputa. Ruled by a tyran king of the country that Laputa controls and Laputa itself. The city is on the ground and also has access to Laputa at any given time to proceed in an attack or defence. Lagoda was then lost with the sky-castle era. All that remains of the city is ruins and is also told about in the library of Laputa. This country although ruled all of the world at one point in history.

The king of Lagado gave access for there to be a king of Laputa under the king's control though. The heirs of Laputa returned to the ground below to after the fall of the empire.
