Lacrimae are a gothic rock band from Sintra, Portugal formed in 2000. The founders were Ivo Martins, Carlos Alves and Luis Martins on lead guitar, rhythm guitar and bass. In 2002 Lacrymae produced their first and currently only demo called "Cosmic Ride". During the recording of the demo they had Lea as vocals and Alix on the drums. After the demo recording Lea and Alix quit and were replaced with Catarina for vocals and José on drums. The band entered a competition sometime ago at "Ritmus Bar" and their band came 3rd overall. Lacrimae are currently in the progress of recording another demo however it's name and track listing are unreleased.
