This stub needed some significant help. Some of the "facts" were a bit incorrect, such as the claim that this was Mozart's last opera (a claim that needed qualification, since the sequence was most of "Magic Flute," then all of "Tito," then completion and premiere of "Magic Flute"). Also, the disparaging of "Tito" is sort of old hat; Alfred Einstein was very influential in perpetuating that view, but more recent critics have reassessed the opera and found that it has something worthwhile to say. I added a plot summary with a view to making the entry much more useful. Hope this is found to be of help.--MollyTheCat

Much thanks to Qertis for his/her recent edit of a blunder that resulted from my rearranging wording on the page (i.e., correctly noting that Leopold II was being crowned King of Bohemia in Prague and not Holy Roman Emperor). Excellent catch!-- MollyTheCat 03:41, 17 July 2005 (UTC)

What's the rule regarding character names? And could we stick to it, please? I mean either Italian or English but not both, every time... Safebreaker (talk) 20:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
