La'Shontae Heckerd

La'Shontae Heckard is an actress/urban model, born in Seoul, South Korea, better known as La'Shontae or just Tae. She was born to an African-American (father), and Korean (mother). Heckard has not only has she been seen on the big and small screens, she also been in several music videos and magazines showcasing her exotic looks. Loved by her fans for down to earth personality and exquisite beauty, she is truly a hot commodity.

Growing up in a military family, La'Shontae has been to almost all corners of the world. Wanting to settle down, she decided to make Dallas, Texas her home. There, she attended High School in Dallas, and completed her High School career early.

After completing High School, her father dared her to join the army, and wanting to prove herself, she enlisted. She joined the US Army Reserves as a result. Before she was activated in the post 9/11 era, she attended Stephen F. Austin State University located in Nacogdoches, Texas. Ater serving 4 years active duty, she finally is able to pursue her dreams in career and love.

In her college days, La'Shontae began to show a desire for acting, and landed her first form of employment in the modeling industry with Juice magazine using it as a stepping stone. She became a spokesmodel for Juice, but also became a model for a website well known in her area, Dallas Peeps (dallaspeeps.com). During this time, she took part in fashion shows.

In 2002, an unexpected break came when a talent scout asked her to be in Brandy's Full Moon music video. From there, she did several more videos with artists such as Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, and others.
