Virtually every other Eurovision song, from both the finals and the semi-finals, has its own page. Only the French entry's song page is marked for deletion. Why is that?

I think this page should be deleted too, but it's not a "non-notable band." DJLarZ 20:09, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

I belive that this page should be kept and improved, simply for the sake of completion. It seems odd that the other european entries are deemed notable, but not this. Firbolag 22:48, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Possibly because I don't go around deleting articles - I patrol the new pages. Furthermore, "completion" is not a compelling reason to keep and article. --Haemo 02:15, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Participation in a Eurovision final makes the band, and most probably the song notable as well. It means that they must have won a national contest, and with the Eurovision song contest broadcasted to about a billion people, this song has most certainly gained plenty of attention. I have removed the prod notice, and I firmly believe that the song will be kept if anyone tries sending it to AFD. Good call on removing the lyrics though, which are copyrighted. I have added a link to the official Eurovision website where the lyrics are presented. Sjakkalle (Check!) 07:12, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
