[edit] History
Live started out as a magazine covering the latest trends in Information Technology management. The first issue rolled out in October 2005 and the students of SJMSOM were the prime contributors to the magazine. The initial issues were in electronics form (pdf), and were distributed through email. The initial issues concentrated on the key issues in the IT industry and ran with the tag line "IT on the go". From the April 2006 issue onwards, Live diversified to include all the management sciences. It included articles from industry leaders, interviews and articles from student and academicians. The tag line was modified to "Management Redefined".
Live underwent a sea change in its format and content in 2008. New sections were introduced, collaborations were established, a lot of external writers were pulled in. Live started the print edition from January 2008 onwards. The Live logo was designed and the new tag line was adopted - "Management comes alive". The stated focus of Live was to "established a forum for creation and sharing of management and business related knowledge that will be valued by the whole of management fraternity"

L!ve is proposed to be a bi-monthly magazine which will act as a interface between SJMSOM and the outside world (corporate, IIT Alumni, eminent personalities, thought leaders etc) and thereby produce content that will be valued by the whole business community. Although the School of Management, IIT Bombay itself will maintain a certain level of coverage, publishing relevant content related to industry, will be our paramount focus. We will strive to provide quality content keeping in mind the audience that we reach to.
