[edit] History

[edit] Brand New Frequency

103.7 is a new frequency to Flagstaff. The 103.7 format was born out of an extensive research project. This research also showed that the recall of the name "EAGLE" was very high with Flagstaff radio listeners. The same was true for the call letters KZGL. So these two labels were reinvented.

[edit] KZGL call letters

The KZGL call letters were originally used in the Flagstaff-Prescott radio market at 95.9 FM in Cottonwood (now KKLD), first with an Active Rock format and later Modern Rock. In 2006, the calls and format briefly moved to 98.3 FM in Prescott Valley, the former home of KKLD, until the signal was moved closer to the Phoenix market (with City of license in Mayer) and became the new home for KKFR.
