KZFR 90.1 FM is a non-profit, community radio station located in Chico, California. It started out as a translator for KPFA in Berkeley in 1981. It began transmitting its own content July 6, 1990. KZFR still broadcasts KPFA from 2 AM to 6 AM.
It is run by a Board of Directors, and programming is selected by a Program Council.
