[edit] NPOV

This article only covers his controversies and not his playing career. Needs to be reworked. Warhol13 21:13, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

Agreed. Blohme (talk) 07:55, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
K - adding additional information about his playing career is definitely needed, but removing any mention of "the incident" seems to be going a little overboard. I'm assuming it was removed because of lack of sourcing(?) Lets just say I'm hoping that's the reason for it. If it weren't for "the incident" most people wouldn't have ever known who this All-Rookie, All-Pro lineman was. It needs to be properly documented and on here - not removed. I'm hoping that's what the plan is... right? IrishTraveller (talk) 01:37, 22 December 2007 (UTC)
It's going to be hard to quantify Turley's career with each team because there aren't many stats for an offensive lineman. Turley did more than just the "helmet" incident, but that is kind of what defines his career in New Orleans. Can we find sources about some of the other controversies in his career? (I remember him addressing the Warner/Bulger QB controversy in St. Louis by yelling something like "[Bulger]'s your quarterback! Shut up!" into a camera while Bulger was being interviewed. Can we find some achievements with New Orleans (Pro Bowls? Player of the week?) while also addressing the controversy? Bill shannon (talk) 05:45, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Typically, offensive lineman's careers are measured by the success their team has had in specific areas (like running the ball) and on offense in general. So info like that is always useful. Stuff like "He blocked for a 1,000-yard rusher eight straight seasons blah blah blah.►Chris NelsonHolla! 07:18, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
