Kylie Gillies

Kylie Gillies (born 4 May 1969) is a presenter for the Seven Network based in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

Gillies was born in Tamworth, New South Wales where she worked as a reporter, producer and newsreader for Prime Television. During her ten year association with Prime she became the face of northern New South Wales.

Gillies was the Weekend Sunrise sport presenter and regularly filled in on the weekday Sunrise if Natalie Barr, Mark Beretta or Melissa Doyle are away, taking their position reading the news, sport report or presenting the show. Gillies used to also regularly present Seven's late news updates, sharing the position with Chris Bath and Samantha Armytage. In December 2006, Gillies was regular host of the weekend sport report on Sydney's edition of Seven News, filling in for Nick McArdle, who has since left the network.

Gillies most recognised role was on Sportsworld as the sports news presenter. She read the sports news headlines at least twice during the program. Gillies has had experience presenting on Sunrise, Weekend Sunrise, Seven's Morning News, Seven's 4.30 News and 6:00 pm edition in Sydney.

Gillies is a first cousin of Silverchair drummer Ben Gillies

Gillies entered a new era in her career as she begun a permanent role with Larry Emdur as co-host of Seven's 'The Morning Show after Sunrise from 9:00 am to 11:00 am on weekdays.

Gillies is also a reporter for the Australian Open coverage. She provides the weather each day for the Open, and the sports reports for the Open.
