The Kyūshū region (九州地方, Kyūshū-chihō) is one of the regions of Japan which includes the seven prefectures on Kyūshū (Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, Nagasaki, Ōita, and Saga) and Okinawa on Ryūkyū Shoto.
