Lists are evil, for the most part. Most of the time, they're just a trivial way of sorting several related items, sometimes they are useful. A useful list would be one that does one a category can't, like the list for the Nobel Peace Prize winners, since it shows when they got it, not just sorted alphabetically. An "evil" list would be sorting those winners by age. Yeah, we know how old they are, but what's the importance of having it sorted that way? Some may argue that it's "useful information that would be found in an almanac". One problem, Wikipedia is an encyclopedia.
