[edit] History
[edit] Unnamed (2004–2005)
The roots of Kute Fuzzie Puppy Kittens lie in the band itself, the group fromed in Maryville that includes Daniel Boles on vocals/keyboard/guitar/drums, and Silas Mason on vocals/bass, as well as guitar. The Richard joined "Puppy Kittens" near the end of the year as a singer. After much dispute, the band name remained undecided. After a year, having completed only one jam session recording and no live shows, the band decided it was time for a change.
[edit] So It Begins
The keyboardist ,Daniel, and bassist ,Silas, formed the band as ,Kute Fuzzie Puppy Kittens, because of the fact that "It's the irony," said Daniel Boles of KFPK. They recorded their first song demo "Kute Fuzzie Puppy Kittens" in July 17,2006 for their self titled album "Kute Fuzzie Puppy Kittens" also including an earlier version of "Brown Note", "Raining Puppy and Kittens", "Metal Face", "Super DistructO", and "O.D street". They're second demo recorded with Richard,at the end of the same year, has newer versions of the songs along with others created for the album.
With they're new album coming out this fall and they're second single "Nick Tenney" due to be released in June, Kute Fuzzie Puppy Kittens, are hoping for greater success in the upcoming year.
[edit] Music Style
Daniel described their style as being "the kind of music you can kill a man to". The other member Richard says, he labels all his music as super metal. Silas, bassist for "KFPK",says"It's a mosh-pit of death". Although the band has mostly metal influence they'll also have some classic rock influences from songs such as "Jesus's Pawnshop" as well as many others. Daniel says his biggest ifluences are Slayer because of their sure metal, Frank Zappa, and Queen because he likes Freddie Mercury's music and song structure, and because Brian May wrote "Fat Bottom Girls".It has been reported Silas's vocal stlye is reminiscent of Trey Parker. When asked about this Silas agreed, "Yes, he has influenced me because he is the only guy I can sound like without sucking. It's pretty much crazy as hell." Silas has also creditted his influence as being Paul McCartney, Matt Barlow, and John Paul Jones.
[edit] Plans for the Future
Next, band members Silas Mason and Daniel Boles are planing on creating a rock opera "The Ballad of Dewey Boles". Daniel states: "We probably won't start really working on it until the end of 2009". "Its's going to be an epic triology," he added. "So be ready for the apocolypse of your world".
