Kuthodaw Pagoda, Mandalay, Myanmar, from the southeast terrace. Note the main shrine hall to the left of picture, the stairs to the upper terraces behind, the bell in centre foreground hung on pillars topped by a galon (garuda) grabbing a naga by its tail, two small shrines for planetary posts to the right of picture; the corner chinthe has a bifid rump.
