"refreezing" is an oft used misquote. In "Frontiers of Group dynamics" 1947 Lewin uses the word "freezing". I believe that he does this in order emphasize the change; refreezing might be taken to imply that some part of the old is frozen.

[edit] Field Theory vs Force Field Theory

I don't recognize "Force" as being part of Lewin's Field Theory. Also the main article on this subject is called Force Field Theory. Moreover there is no entyr point on the disambiguation page for Field Theory pointing to Lewin's Field Theory.
