Kunnumpuram is a village near Tanur town, Malappuram District, Kerala. Early Buddhist monastery (Narimada)situated near the Central AUP School Pariyapuram. A 'bhodhi vriksha' tree brought from Colombo(SriLanka)was planted here by a bhuddist saint.
