Hello: before I would edit this page, I want to know if someone read about this idea: Could it be that the idea of the "unbalanced lottery" in this meta-series is based on the Philip K. Dick novel "Solar Lottery", where the head of state is elected on a lottery. Thanks!

While that could conceivably have been an influence, I don't think that was necessarily the author's intention when creating the series – I don't know that it's ever really been said what the inspirations for Kujian are, beyond the idea of having a series that the Genshiken characters could read and watch (thus allowing him to examine both consumption habits of otaku and the clichés of anime and manga). So while there may be similarities in the concept, I don't know that it's enough to really say that's where he got the idea from.--Julian Grybowski 20:58, 14 May 2007 (UTC)
Yes, that´s exactly what I mean. As nobody had read about this possible influence, I don't want to put this on the article. Anyways, it wouldn't the first time that a manga/anime has been influenced by Philip K. Dick (Space Adventure Cobra is the example that I know, maybe there are more). Thanks Julian, that was only an idea.

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Kujibiki Unbalance TV.jpg

Image:Kujibiki Unbalance TV.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
