KSLR 630 AM is a San Antonio, Texas area Salem Communications owned Christian Talk Station. KSLR airs national programs such as Focus on the Family with Dr. James Dobson, Dennis Rainey, Hank Hanegraaff, Chuck Swindoll, Alistair Begg, and James MacDonald. KSLR also airs numerous local radio shows such as Dr. Ed Skidmore, Gilbert Perez, and Allen Randolph.

- 1975 - Salem Communications (California) purchased KMFM-FM 96.1 and eventually changed call letters to KSLR-FM. Mel Taylor is hired as GM.
- 1977 – John Walk is hired as KSLR-FM Program Director and hosts daily music show.
- 1984 – Salem also purchases KMAC-AM – Mel Taylor GM, John Walk Program Director.
- 1986 – Salem sold FM for cash and 630 KMAC-AM, changed calls to KSLR-AM, Roy Butler hired
- 1988 – Salem sold KSLR-AM to Communicom Corporation of America (of Denver) – Bob Lepine GM, Mary Dockery GSM, John Walk Operations Mgr.
- 1990 – September, Dave Gordon hired – December, Roy Butler re-hired.
- 1992 – July, Bob Lepine resigns and joins Family Life Today with Dennis Rainey, Carl Dean hired as GM. John Walk debuts as host of Crosscurrents, a one hour daily talk show.
- 1993 – Mary Dockery resigns as GSM.
- 1994 – August, Salem reacquires KSLR-AM, Carl Dean stays with Communicom, John Walk promoted to interim GM.
- 1995 – January, John Walk resigns after 18 years with KSLR. Jeff Crabtree becomes new GM.
- 1997 – July, Jeff Crabtree resigns, Dave Gordon interim GM, Take A Stand with Adam McManus show debuts on KSLR
- 1998 – February, Mary Dockery GSM
- 1998 – July, Dave Gordon resigns as GM, Mary Dockery is promoted to GM, Jim Vance GSM
- 1999 – Pat Rodgers hired
- 2000 – February, Dave Gordon hired as OM.
- 2000 – September, Salem acquires 930 KLUP-AM, Pat Rodgers morning show
- 2002 – January, Sonny Melendrez hired for middays on KLUP, Baron Wiley producer
- 2002 – February, Mary Dockery resigns, Dave Gordon GM, Baron Wiley OM
- 2002 – July, Pat Rodgets resigns, Sonny Melendrez KLUP morning show
- 2003 – March, Jim Vance resigns
- 2003 – July, David Ziebell GMS
- 2004 – July, Dave Gordon resigns, David Ziebell GM, James Herring GSM
