[edit] Not like US 'Special Forces Command'

It's under the Headline, where you write:

"The Kommando Spezialkräfte (Special Forces Command, KSK) ..."

I think you should mention that 'Special Forces Command' ist the word-by-word translation and refers to the german word "Kommando" as a unit and not a leading staff or so. It's easily muddled up with the US Special Forces Command.

In german Army a "Kommando" ist a special unit, behind enemy lines. In WW2 german "Kommandos": "Brandenburger", a special unit for sabotage and search and destroy. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.146.113.75 (talk) 00:40, 11 January 2007 (UTC).

Special Forces Command is the correct translation. The "Kommando" stands not for "commando" or sth. like this. It is used equally like for example in "Kommando Strategische Aufklärung", "Streitkräfteunterstützungskommando" or "Heeresführungskommando" and is just a special kind of military department. That is why the commander of the KSK is called "General Spezialkräfte und Kommandeur KSK".

             == Reinhard Günzel ==
commander of the KSK from Nov. 24, 2000 to November 4, 2003 claimed in his book Geheime Krieger German: secret warriors; Published December 2000 that the KSKsoldiers "know their roots exactly", and that amongst them the Brandenburgers' missions are "downright legendary". This was politically controversial as the Bundeswehr does not derive its military tradition from the Wehrmacht as a whole. Günzel was fired in 2003 after he publicly applauded an anti-semitic rant of a local right-wing parlamentarian.

This sounds like a slur against the german armed forces, and the KSK in particular. i find it pointless to add this statment. to even suggest a leading member in the KSK was a neo nazi just disguists me. wether its true or not i do not know. But i argue the importance of adding something that is not connected to or has anything to do with the KSK. point being, it doesnt need to be there.
