Allenton Weather is a personal weather station located in the Town of Addison, in Washington County, Wisconsin. The site can be viewed at www.allentonweather.com[1]. The station location is approximately 1.75 miles southwest of the unincorporated town of Allenton.
This weather station has provided weather information on the web to local and worldwide visitors for over 4 years. It is one of only a few area weather sites that maintains historical weather information, including data for nearly every 15 minute interval since March 2003. The station hardware is a Davis Vantage Pro weatherstation. It is a solar powered (with battery backup) station that transmits weather data every 2 seconds wirelessly to an indoor console. The indoor console is attached via serial port to a PC, using Davis WeatherLink software. Data is transferred from the local PC to the AllentonWeather.com website every 15 minutes.
