Kristy Hinze is an Australian model, actress and television host. She was born in Sydney, Australia on the 16th of October, 1980 and later moved with her family to the state of Queensland where she was reportedly raised on a horse and cattle station in Beaudesert. The blonde beauty has appeared in Sports Illustrated as well as the Victoria's Secret catalogue.
She is currently the face of Australian retail chain Sportscraft.
It was announced in February 2008 that Kristy will be the host of the Australian version of popular US reality TV show, Project Runway.[1]
Kristy is the granddaughter of Russ Hinze (Queensland Polititian) and sister of Guy Hinze (ex-Qld Police officer and owner of Bubs Baby Shops)

- Hinze's grandfather was the late Russ Hinze, a state minister in Queensland, Australia.

Hinze has been dating her 63-year-old boyfriend, Texan billionaire Jim Clark, the founder of Netscape, for two-and-a-half years. In a recent interview with The Australian Women's Weekly, she revealed "I never thought I was going to date an older man when I first met him", but she was attracted to him because he is "truly, incredibly intelligent".
Hinze was previously linked romantically to musician Johnny Philippidis (Burlap to Cashmere). Kristy also had a long term relationship with former radio and internet star Toggsy (Andrew Videto). The couple moved to New York together in 1999.
