Kristen Modafferi

Kristen Modafferi is a former college student from Charlotte, North Carolina, who vanished without a trace on June 23, 1997, while on a summer-away study program in the San Francisco Bay Area. Aged 18 at the time of her disappearance, she has been profiled on Unsolved Mysteries[1], Primetime Live[2], and America's Most Wanted[3].

As the result of lobbying by her parents, Kristen's Law established the National Center for Missing Adults.[4]
