The Original Glazed Doughnut is the flagship product of the US-based doughnut company Krispy Kreme. It is a typical ring doughnut with a sugar based glaze.[1] Each doughnut weighs about 52g, has 10g of sugar, and 200 calories.The formula for the original glazed doughnut was created by the founder of Krispy Kreme, Antony Keith. Since then, its popularity has grown at an astonishing rate. Spreading to stores throughout America and in recent years, overseas. [2]
