Kringsjå is the second last station on Sognsvannsbanen (line 3) on the Oslo T-bane system. It lies between Holstein and Sognsvann and is 8.4 km from Stortinget. The station was opened October 10, 1934.[1]
To the west of the station are large student dormitories, in particular Kringsjå Student City and Fjellbirkeland Student City. This makes subway line a convenient mode of transportation for students since the stations of Blindern and Forskningsparken near the University of Oslo are located further down the track.
