Kreator's 12th Studio album

As of April 2008, Kreator have begun work on their next studio album, which is expected to be released in January 2009. Petrozza stated that the band has been "spending most" of their "time in the rehearsal room these days to prepare the new album" and also have "a five-track demo and two more songs written". In a recent interview, Mille stated that the working title for one of the new songs is "War Curse". Kreator recently announced on their official website that they are not planning a tour around the U.S. until the album is completed.
