Krauss-Maffei sold diesel hydraulic hood locomotives in Argentina. The design was very similar to the Southern Pacific's hood units, but on meter guage trucks. There is one preserved in a museum. Will try and find reference on the web.

Unfortunately this page is a mix-up of the two different enterprises Krauss-Maffei and Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. Only Krauss-Maffei Wegmann is the builder of different tank technologies. Also the interwikilinks link to some sites dealing with Krauss-Maffei and others dealing with Krauss-Maffei Wegmann. --Creando 17:38, 11 February 2007 (UTC)
