The Kramer Focus is a superstrat electric guitar manufactured by Kramer Guitars, currently owned by Gibson. The Focus was one of Kramer's first models manufactureed and then imported from Japan. During the 80's, the model sported the popular Floyd Rose vibrato tailpiece (as seen on Chad Ummel's guitar), but replaced it with the Vintage tremolo seen more often on Fender Stratocasters, in the early 90's after a lawsuit with Rose himself over royalties. Kramer was then purchased by Gibson, and still manufactures the guitar today, though it now more closely resembles a Fender Stratocaster.
