Talk:KPlayer
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This article is about KPlayer, a KDE multimedia player. KPlayer is free software (GPL) and uses MPlayer as the media playing backend. This article is work in progress and can be considered a stub.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ipspel (talk • contribs)
- Is the the fact that it is a KDE program the assertion of notability? If that's the intention, I will remove the tags. Leebo86 17:45, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
- In my mind the fact that a free software project has been around for 4+ years and evolved into a full featured media player as a purely voluntary effort and is used by hundreds of thousands of people is an assertion of notability. And yes, being a KDE program is a big plus, since that is the best desktop environment that currently exists, imho. MPlayer is also the best media player that exists, again imho. So please remove the tag if you can.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ipspel (talk • contribs)
