[edit] Ron Angus
Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of an page, and removing them is considered vandalism. Thank you. Accurizer 10:35, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Do you have a source for the claim you added to Hiram Abiff?
If no source is provided, it will be removed as original research. MSJapan 04:29, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your pre-Roman Germanic Britain theory
Let me add to everything others have said in response to your theory that Old English stems from Germanic speakers in pre-Roman Britain: If they had been there in the Roman period, they surely would have been converted to Christianity (as were the ancestors of the Welsh, Cornish and Bretons). But this is contradicted by the historical fact that the conversion of the Anglo-Saxons began in 596. --teb728 01:04, 14 September 2007 (UTC)
