[edit] KKIA T2 is not a low-cost carrier terminal
i read in thesun malaysia few days ago a minister saying that T2 is actually not a LCCT. or at least not officially. or perhaps not limited to low cost airlines only. but i cant find the article online. i think this is right, considering the appearance, services, facilities, of the airport seeming high standard. kawaputra 15:03, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
- found the article. its actually stated by the MD of MAHB: news article kawaputra 15:37, 27 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] History
The history section is incomplete. I dont have info on when terminal 1 was built. I have a feeling its built around the 70s. Subang was built in 1965, so i think it couldnt be before this. kawaputratok2me 08:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Not related
Sorry, i deleted this paragraph coz i think its not related to KKIA. Maybe it can be put in Kota Kinabalu, Sepanggar, Tune Hotels, or AirAsia.
"'In 14 of May 2007, Tune Hotels announced its plans to establish its first property in East Malaysia at the upcoming 1 Borneo hypermall in Kota Kinabalu. The expansion programme offers the company an exciting opportunity to fill in the large gap of quality branded no-frills accommodation in South East Asia region. The company sees a huge upside in Kota Kinabalu's tourism market over the next 45 years." kawaputratok2me 05:05, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
- Someone put the paragraph back in the article. Anyone else thinks it should not be there? kawaputratok2me 16:47, 18 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Trivia
I think we dont need a trivia section. The facts in it can be integrated into the article easily it seems. Plus wiki guidelines also discourages it: WP:TRIV. I will remove it soon when time permits. kawaputratok2me 15:26, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
