Kotsiopoulos

Konstantinos Kotsiopoulos (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος ΚωτσιόπουλοςItalic text) (born in Athens, Central Greece) is a Lecturer of Pastoral Theology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. From 1993 to 2005 he was teaching theology, sociology and history at Greek College of Thessaloniki High School; In 1995 he became a Doctor of Pastoral and Social Theology. The aim of his PhD was "The Zealot movement of Thessaloniki (1342 - 1349)".In 2005 he became an lecturer of Sociology of Christianity at the Department of Pastoral Theology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and he became one of the younger Professors in the Faculty mentioned above.

He wrote several books ("Orthodoxy and Europe"(="Ορθοδοξία και Ευρώπη"), "Orthodoxy and globalization"(="Ορθοδοξία και Παγκοσμιοποίηση" a.o.). Plenty of articles written by him have been published in magazines, scientific journals and newspapers.
