Kosmos Samaras

Kosmos Samaras is an Australian political activist, currently the Assistant State Secretary of the Victorian branch of the Australian Labor Party.[1] He was appointed on August 26, 2005.
Samaras is a leading figure in the Socialist Left faction of the ALP[2]. Prior to his elevation to the elective office within the ALP, he served as an electorate officer to Senator Kim Carr, the leader of the Socialist Left faction in Victoria.
Fairfax Community Newspapers publication Hume Community News described him as being a leader of the Socialist Left faction.
