My Quote Problem

Thanks for the answer. But, are you sure there is no way to even program a bot to do it? —Signed by KoЯnfan71 My Talk Sign Here! 00:15, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Probably not. Bots are generally used in order to enhance the project (i.e. help more than one user or assist in a broad scope). Miranda 00:30, 24 July 2007 (UTC)

Re: Recent Vandalism

Heya - unfortunately the vandal seems to have access to huge numbers of IP addresses (I've blocked about 12) and they seem to be on multiple ranges so a rangeblock doesn't look feasible either. For the moment, it seems like all we can do is revert them and semiprotect the pages they target as necessary. And hope they get bored! Regards. Will (aka Wimt) 23:56, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

I've semi-protected your page. It is only temporary. Happy editing. KOS | talk 08:05, 4 July 2007 (UTC)

answer to your question

Yes I can see it (can't make out the words, but I can see a smuge of text)! I did not know you could get text size down that low! Thanks for posting that! =-D Oh and you're welcome for your first award! Tell me how you came across my secret page-- Penubag  20:58, 19 July 2007 (UTC)

I found that ****** page by chance. I just read. I noticed you play your DS online...do you have a Wii? And do you use that online (if you have one)? And, this is embarrassing since I program quite a bit, but, how do you make your ASCII art? (Man, I feel dumb right about now.) Thanks! ---Signed By KoЯnfan71 (User Page—My Talk) 00:08, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

Do I have a wii? I would kill to have one, but, I am in high school right now (the most important years of one's life) and I need to maintain the highest grade possible. So in my spare time, I have to study for SATs and my 3 summer classes, but after my senior year in highschool, I will buy 10million Wiis. But I still seem to have a margin of time to whip out my beloved Nintendo DS and play maybe about 30 or so minutes on it. Also, no need to feel dumb about not knowing about ACII, many people ask me the same. The way I do it the ACII art on my 2nd userpage is through a program called ACII converter, where you put a .gif or .jpg in the converter and it simply converts into text. (yeah, it's like cheating, I guess). But I also have many different ASCII art that I have done manually (there aren't any on my user page because they, of cource, do not look as good). Do you have an image you'd like me to convert for you? I'd be glad too! Just send the image to me (any file exention because I have an extention converter on my computer as well) and I'll change the image for you! If you want, sent a portrait of yourself, or your friends' (and you could surprise them, lol) and I'll convert it. Well, see 'ya!-- Penubag  02:39, 20 July 2007 (UTC)

I don't really know of any ASCII online converters but feel free to use mine.-- Penubag  17:27, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

<EDIT> Look, good news for you! I have found an online ASCII converter for you!!! [Ascii convert] have fun! -- Penubag  17:27, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Personal attacks message

FYI, I used to be a regular contributor and administrator here at Wikipedia. Vandals, trolls and other malefactors are what did me in and believe me, I was hit with a LOT of personal attacks as well. I'd been considering the possibility of returning in a limited capacity, but it seems that the inmates are still running this asylum. You're right; I shouldn't have attacked that user and for that, I apologize. Might I ask you to please remove the warning on the IP talk page? I won't be returning anytime soon. Thanks. 74.62.174.104 00:45, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Sigh...OK. It was "Lucky 6.9" and you can have a b'crat run a checkuser to verify. This is one of my work IP's. There was a bot message on my home IP the other day; it was the first time I'd even looked in more than seven months. In exchange for the removal of the bot message since I wanted to exercise my right to disappear, I cleaned up a couple of inaccuracies I found via Answers.com. This got me to thinking about a limited return...but there ain't now way no how now. I know you're trying to do the right thing. If I were back in your position, I'd be doing the same thing. Now that you know, please remove the notice. Many thanks. - 74.62.174.104 01:17, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Good grief...it's come to this. OK, I'll blank it myself. I've apologized for my role in this and that's all I can do. Please respect my wishes and allow me to disappear again. Thank you. 74.62.174.104 01:29, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

Your VandalProof Application

Thank you for your interest in VandalProof, Kornfan71. As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact the just released 1.3 version has even more power. Because of this we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again soon. Thank again for your interest in VandalProof. 22:51, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
