I am Turkish American. My family and I moved to the US when I was 13, and didn't speak a word of English. Even though I have mastered the language enough to score 700 on my SAT verbal (hehehe), I still make little grammar mistakes. I spend my time doing research about the terrorist organization, PKK, and other little political stuff, including Turkey, Bush, Greco-Turk Relations, TRNC and everyone's favorite ASALA. I try to point out non-NPOV stuff, but I cannot contribute much due to limited time. I also play soccer, PES, World of Warcraft and RuneScape.
My name is pretty obvious to get if you know Turkish (hint: It is not Bean). I am "officially" a Muslim but I believe more in Gaia Theory than I believe in the Qu'ran. I have also read all "three great religions" books (Judaism, Christianity, Islam). I will start doing research about Buddhism soon.

Because my teenage years were in the USA, I am more open to different opinions, since I now talk to people I had prejudice against. I am Leaning Liberal, but have nothing to do, in no shape or form, with Communism. Although I believe loving communism is basically necrophilia, I listen to other ideologies and respect them for what they are. I always try to "Agree to disagree".
