This article is far from correct. It was certainly not founded by Sergej Korolev, he used this city to consolidate the space travel industry. Errabee 15:17, 16 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Former name

And, I believe it was called "Kalinin," not "Kaliningrad," which is the former Königsberg. But I am not certain. --VonWoland 02:08, 4 April 2006 (UTC)

The article is correct; the former name of this city is Kaliningrad. It's not uncommon in Russia for two places to have the same name. Kaliningrad is the former Königsberg, and Korolyov is the former Kaliningrad, but they are two different cities :) "Kalinin" was the name of Tver from 1931 to 1990.—Ëzhiki (ërinacëus amurënsis) 12:24, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
You are quite right---it is hard to keep up sometimes. --VonWoland 23:06, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
