- Princess Koriander (Koriand´r), also known as Starfire: A male character from comics, created by Marv Wolfman and Geórge Pérez in 1980. The pronunciation is 'kor-e-an-door'.
- The german name for plant known in Brazil as 'coentro'. The scientific name is coriandrum sativum. You can find references about the plant 'coentro' as koriander in German, Danish, Dutch and Swedish. In these coutries is not difficult to find restaurants or cafés called 'Koriander'.
