[edit] Appearance

Kool Little Leo is registered with the American Quarter Horse Association as a sorrel. She has a freeze brand on her left shoulder that looks like a capital B with a curved, arrow-tipped tail. Kool Little Leo has a blaze down the middle of her face as well as white on the underside of her lip.

[edit] Breeding

Kool Little Leo has the bloodlines of Leo, Three Bars, Bert, Two Eyed Jack and many other famous American Quarter Horses. Her sire is Zandys Jim Dandy, a great-great-great-grandson of Three Bars. Her dam is Buffys Little Bay, a great-great-granddaughter of Two Eyed Jack. [1] Kool Little Leo is foundation-bred with no Impressive breeding. She does not show the heavy muscling characteristics of many Quarter Horses today but has the lighter, more wiry form of many of the Quarter Horses in the early days of the breed.

[edit] Career

Due to her age, Kool Little Leo is already trained to saddle. Kool Little Leo is expected to be shown in local horse shows and 4H events. Kool Little Leo is a registered American Quarter Horse and is eligible to be shown in breed-sanctioned shows and participate in other functions. Kool Little Leo's foundation breeding would also allow her to be shown in Foundation Horse shows and at functions. Until 2010, Kool Little Leo can be shown with two hands in a snaffle bit as a "junior" horse.
