[edit] Is the Giant List of Names Necessary?

I just cleaned up the long, comma-delineated block consisting of the names of past contributors to Konkret. A vast majority of these names do not yet have an article, nor are they likely to be familiar to users outside of Germany and I'm guessing the block was just a big information dump from the German Wikipedia. Does it even make any sense to keep the huge list of names? I seems to me that once an English article for one of these German writers comes into existence, her/his name can be added to the Konkret article by the editor at that point. wintersmith 07:34, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

I generally think such lists should only be examples, not include every single author. People like Biermann, Blüm and Schwarzer are definitely notable; and the notability of the others will be disputable for everyone, I guess, so I think it's convenient to focus on people who have an entry.
