Talk:Konarka Technologies, Inc.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm glad this article mentions the company was founded in 2001. The Internet Archive shows that even in October 02 Konarka was already talking up its new technology, though probably more in the R&D phase at the time. It's now many years later. I'm ready to power my devices with this stuff, so where's Konarka? Am I too impatient, or is this a valid concern for a company promising such amazing new technology?

I've followed this company for years now (at least since 2004), and during that time I've seen no real details of when they intend to bring a product to market. So, where's the beef?

[edit] I agree

Their articles talk of all they have accomplished and they appear to have adequate funding. But nowhere on their webpage (or anywhere else) does it say when or where their product is available. If it is going to be available only to industries I'd like to see overlapping/interlocking roofing tiles for the average home. At a competitive price, of course. What a reduction in electric use that would be if our homes had that! Rottie49 —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rottie49 (talk • contribs) 15:12, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
