  • Konark certainly deserve an article, to begin with at least a stub page. I shall do that right now. --Bhadani 6 July 2005 16:13 (UTC)
Hello, I would most humbly request editors not to do any copyright violation, more so when important topics and articles are involved like the Konark, a World Heritage Site. In the zeal to edit, one should never do that – it is my appeal. Copyright violations ultimately defeat the purpose: such editors think that they are helping wikipedia and the users by placing a lot of information on a particular topic. But, when the copyright issue arises, all the information is lost. I suggest putting external link. Thanks.--Bhadani 6 July 2005 17:20 (UTC)
  • I've expanded the article considerably, turning it into an article on Konark, though of course the temple is the most important feature. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 6 July 2005 18:55 (UTC)

[edit] map location

needs to be added —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Tejas81 (talkcontribs) 03:31, 12 December 2006 (UTC).

Does anyone else see the coordinates as a garbled mess? I don't know how to fix it.--0rrAvenger 15:38, 18 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] temple content moved

I saw there was a stub for "Konark Sun Temple," so I moved the information on the temple from this article to that one, with only a few cleanup changes.

Also, in briefly skimming the temple information, I noticed the phrase "elsewhere in this book" (in the discussion of the erotic sculptures) - seems rather alarming and probably indicates copyright violation. I left that sentence in place to call attention to the problem and will add this comment to that discussion page as well.

OrrAvenger - the coordinates look garbed to me, too, but sadly I have no idea how to fix it. -- HVH 22:15, 16 June 2007 (UTC)
