  • Ja: 組閣の大命を拝命後、華族会館で記者団と会見する近衛文麿元総理（当時）。期待されていた再登板だけに100人以上記者が集まった（1940年7月17日）。
  • En: Former Prime Minister Fumnimaro Konoe (1889–1945) meets the press at Kazoku Kaikan (Peerage Club House) after having accepted his second imperial order to form a new government, 17 July 1940. Konoe was one of the most popular prime ministers among the press and the general public in the pre-war Japan.
