AFAIK, the true beginning of Komsomol on Amur started with the politic oppositors sent by Stalin in the Gulags in 1930s in order to stop the Japanese invasion. If anyone will verify this, he could add the information to the article. --82.58.202.136 21:34, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
- The city has been developed from small settlement in an industrial city for maintenance aviation and ship building in deep back in forthcoming war.
