The Administration section in the Kollam page is not related to the city. It talks about the administration of Kollam district, and hence should be moved to there. [edit] Area of Kollam corporation

I removed the area, but the other stats, except the population, also appear to be for the district. The density of the district can be calculated from http://www.kollam.nic.in/Gln.html to be 1038. Does the census dept publish literacy for each city, or just the districts ? Tintin 12:36, 17 January 2007 (UTC)

The census details of population, literacy, unemployment, poverty, etc, etc are available for each districts and cities. Even ward wise break up is available with the Census Department. But, unfortunately, the smaller break ups are not published in internet. You can contact the PRO at the HO of the Census Dept in Kerala for the break up details of the cities and towns. But, How to cite those in wiki is another question :-)
