Kolesov RD-36-51

The Kolesov RD-36-51 was a supersonic turbojet engine used on the TU-144 SST.

The RD-36-51 produced a thrust of 18100 kgf and consumed 25700kg/hour.[1] and gave the aircraft a maximum range of 6500 km.

  • Thrust: 24000 kgf at takeoff and 5400 kgf cruise
  • SFC: 1.23 lb/lbf h[2]
