English: Kola vera (sp?). The image shows the kola nut seed pod with the tough husk cut by half longitudinally exposing the nuts and their yellow fleshy covering. In the foreground the image shows the individual nuts removed, cleaned of their covering and broken along their natural suture lines into seqments.
